Greetings and salutations (and not necessarily in that order)!

It’s August of 2023, and after a long layoff (due in part to periods of darkness…) I have determined to return to this platform to post items for distribution.

A friend and mentor suggested that I “share” insights I get from my daily bible study (a part of my morning habit process is to spend 5-30 minutes a day reading the bible, in addition to a period of meditation and general reading from my kindle library) and so, I will be adding insights with the title of “Sermon from the Sidelines: A Minute message on…” and putting them into a separate list.

As the system adds new posts and everything into the ‘all posts’ pages, these posts will also show up for everyone, not just those that seek the study posts. I will not be crushed if a casual reader skips these materials and seeks out the more ‘diverse’ ramblings, but full disclosure requires that I point out this “is” a part of my personality, so it comes in the package. Some may view this as the primary product, others as the packing materials used to fill the box for shipping purposes. Whatever…

Anyway, I hope to begin (again) a (semi-) regular posting of items in both categories going forward. I bid you welcome (back!) to the shared journey we spend in our “free trip around the sun” and perhaps you will find something of value in this endeavor.
